It took me about a week to track down a good Shimano BB for my PowerCranks and I should able to get everything setup to begin my PowerCrank training and blogging on Monday (4/30).  As background for those who will be reading this blog, my intent is to document my experiences with the first 90 days (and later year) of using PowerCranks in an attempt to develop additional power going into my biggest races of the years.  I have been looking at a set of PowerCranks for years and finally got up the gusto to decide to make the move.

Many of you have read about the benefits of PowerCranks and it represents a rather large time and financial investment.  My hope is this blog will serve as a reference point for those who are considering them as part of their training program and that my results may help to provide some clarity about the results.  I will be doing two TT's on Sunday the 29th, so I'll have a clear wattage baseline going into the first 90 days.
